Charles Morrow, a former player and assistant coach for the Bisons soccer program, returns for his third season as head coach,

Morrow directed the Bisons to a 10-22-3 record in his first two seasons.

He was an assistant coach at Vanderbilt University for three years before moving to Belmont Abbey in Belmont , N.C., as head coach.

In two seasons at Belmont Abbey Morrow directed the men's soccer team at the NCAA Division II school to conference runner-up honors in both the regular season and the tournament. In 2003 the team finished third in the regular season, advancing to the semifinals of the conference tournament.

Morrow is a 1997 Lipscomb graduate. He played for the Bisons from 1994-1996, serving as team captain. He started his collegiate career at Queens College, an NCAA Division II soccer power.

He served as assistant men's soccer coach at Lipscomb from 1996-1997 when the school was in the NAIA. Morrow took over as head coach of both the boy's and girl's soccer teams at Goodpasture High School from 1998-2000. At Goodpasture the boy's team advanced to the regional semi-finals in both 1999 and 2000.

Morrow returned to the college coaching ranks in July of 2000 when he went to Vanderbilt as an assistant men's soccer coach. He left Vanderbilt for the head men's soccer coaching position at Belmont Abbey in April 2003.

Morrow earned a Master's of Sports Science degree in 2006 at the United States Sports Academy in Daphne,Ala.

He is married to the former Beth Earnest of Nashville. The couple has two sons, Trip, 4, and Will, 3.
