Bisons road trip starts out sour at Wofford

Final Stats

The Lipscomb Bisons spotted Wofford a 2-0 first half lead in a 4-1 defeat Friday night at Wofford in Spartanburg, S.C..

Lipscomb senior forward Ben Page cut the lead to 2-1 at 47:17 mark of the second half as he fired the ball low off the left goal post and into the net. Senior midfielder Kevin Terry was credited with the assist.

Wofford came back with goals at 58:20 and 86:37.

Wofford's Armin Kinigadner scored the first two goals of the game at 26:09 and 29:44.

Page led Lipscomb with three shots on goal and five shots overall. The Bisons had 10 shots with shots on goal.

Wofford was credited with 15 shots, including nine shots on goal.

Senior goalkeeper Jake Goergen made five saves for Lipscomb.

The Bisons are 5-10-3 overall. Wofford is 5-11-1.
