Lady Bisons sign Indiana golfer Allie Pancake

July 25, 2007

Lipscomb Lady Bisons golf coach Buddy Harston has announced the signing of Allie Pancake from Zionsville, Ind.

Allie, 5-foot-3, was a three-time Most Valuable Player selection from Zionsville Community High School. She lettered in golf four years, serving as team captain in 2006.

She was a regional and state qualifier. She holds the school record for most birdies with three in one nine-hole round. She also broke the record at her school's home course with a one-under par 35 for nine holes. Her best tournament scores are 73 for 18 holes and 34 for nine holes.

Her sophomore year she had a hole-in-one on the first hole of a match.

In high school she also lettered one season in basketball. Academically, she was an honor roll member and graduated with honors.

Allie plans to major in Elementary Education.

"I wanted to attend a Christian university," Allie said. "I love Nashville. And the school has a great golf program."

Her parents are Libby and Tony Pancake. Her father is the golf professional at Crooked Stick Golf Club. Her mother is an LPGA golf professional.

She has two brothers, T.J. (15) and Trent (11) and one sister, Annabelle (5).
