Coach Peck says:"I am so proud of Christy and how hard she as worked over the last year. Although she is not quite 100 percent yet, she is going to be exciting to watch when she returns. She is a great athlete who has taken it upon herself to get in the best shape she can to speed up her recovery process. Christy has a ton of potential and has very high expectations for herself. We are very excited about her return and are fully expecting her to spark our pitching staff this season. We feel Christy has some big things still ahead of her."

2007: Pitched season-high six innings against Savannah State (Feb. 24), a 10-1 win. ...Season-high and staff high 14 strikeouts against Savannah State (Feb. 24). ...Finished regular season with 16 appearances. ..Started six games, threw one complete game against Savannah State (Feb. 24). ...Also earned one save. ...Struck out 32 batters in 35.1 innings.

High School: Four-year starter and letterwinner at Robinson High...Earned Texas All-State honors as a senior...Named District 17AAA MVP and 1st Team Super Centex in her last season...Invited to play in the Texas All-Star game for the North...As a junior, named District 17AAA Offensive MVP and Honorable Mention Super Centex...In her sophomore year, garnered Outstanding Pitcher of the Year and 2nd Team Super Centex honors...Named 2nd Team All-District 17AAA as a freshman...Played for the Spring Klein Hawks Gold coached by Dick Haskel...Also competed in volleyball, earning All-District honors as a sophomore...Regional qualifier in track as a freshman pole vaulter.
