Mariana Rangel is the daughter of Antonio and Ana Rangel. A native of Campinas, Brazil; Rangel is a graduate of Anglo Campinas.

Currently, Rangel is living in Hendersonville, TN. She chose Lipscomb for its relative location to her family.

In her spare time, Rangel enjoys watching the Brazillian Soccer team. She hopes to get a PhD in psychology one day.
